Weiche Sandstr\u00e4nde erstrecken sich entlang der K\u00fcste und Fischerboote treiben lustlos auf dem ruhigen Meer. Meiner Meinung nach ist es die coolste Stadt an der albanischen Riviera. Das einstige verschlafene Fischerdorf hat sich zu einem mittlerweile beliebten Urlaubsort entwickelt.<\/p>\n<p>Keine der albanischen K\u00fcstenst\u00e4dte ist architektonisch besonders sehenswert, und der Hauptgrund f\u00fcr einen Besuch sind die Str\u00e4nde und das Meer. Derzeit sind die albanischen K\u00fcstenorte im Vergleich zu denen in den meisten anderen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern noch relativ wenig erschlossen. Ich fand diesen Strand besser als den Himare-Strand, einfach weil er weiter vom Stadtzentrum entfernt ist und man so den L\u00e4rm der Caf\u00e9s und der Promenade nicht h\u00f6rt. Die Unterkunft wird von 2 Geschwistern betrieben, Dimitra k\u00fcmmert sich um das Restaurant und einige der Zimmer (2024 neu renoviert). Die Unterkunft wird von einem Albaner und seiner griechischen Frau betrieben. Sie ist K\u00f6chin und verzaubert euch im angeschlossenen Restaurant. Das EL\u00c9A Guest House in Himara liegt 2,2 km vom Strand Prinos entfernt und bietet Unterk\u00fcnfte mit einem Garten, kostenfreie Privatparkpl\u00e4tze und ein Restaurant. Der kleine Ort liegt zwischen steilen Bergen und dem Ionischen Meer. Dadurch bietet Himar\u00eb eine perfekte Mischung aus Natur, etwas Kultur und Strand.<\/p>\n<p>Himara ist ein entspannter Strandort, aber es gibt viel zu tun. Es gibt mehrere Str\u00e4nde in und in der N\u00e4he der Stadt, Sie k\u00f6nnen an der Promenade spazieren gehen, das Schloss Himara und einige der Kirchen in der Altstadt besuchen oder eine Wanderung unternehmen.\u00a0Hier sind 10 fantastische Dinge, die meine Zeit in Himara zu einem besonders unvergesslichen Erlebnis machten.<\/p>\n<h2>Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten &amp; Aktivit\u00e4ten<\/h2>\n<p><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/imp.pxf.io\/i\/4513963\/1498923\/13416\" width=\"0\" height=\"0\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Wandere hinauf auf den H\u00fcgel zur Burg Himara<\/h3>\n<p>Es mag ein bisschen anstrengend sein, aber der Spaziergang hinauf zur <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/szx1ewB3csLXpxbD8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Burg Himara<\/a> ist die M\u00fche wert. Die im Zickzack verlaufenden alten Stra\u00dfen und hohen Steinmauern gehen nahtlos in die obere Burg \u00fcber. Sie liegt direkt neben dem Schloss Himara in <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/4TV7oWQGHBkSSeKr6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Himara Fshat (Old Himare)<\/a>, von wo aus die Kirche einen malerischen Blick auf die Berge im Hintergrund bietet. An den W\u00e4nden der Kirche sind einige Gem\u00e4lde zu sehen, die das Alltagsleben in der alten Stadt zeigen.\u00a0Im Ruinen Ort empfiehlt sich ein Besuch im <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/bdb2YK2f8sEaj6Su8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cafe Butterfly<\/a> mit herrlichen Blicken \u00fcber den H\u00fcgel auf das strahlend blaue Meer. Ein Ort absoluter Ruhe.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1200px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-6374-1\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abenteueralbanien.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/DJI_0239.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abenteueralbanien.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/DJI_0239.mp4\">https:\/\/www.abenteueralbanien.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/DJI_0239.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<h3>Burg Porto Palermo<\/h3>\n<p>Etwas au\u00dferhalb von Himara befindet sich eine <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/mPy3pab21YRum4LB9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alte Festung<\/a>, die noch aus der Zeit von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abenteueralbanien.de\/geschichte-albanien\/\">Ali Pascha<\/a> stammt.\u00a0Porto Palermo liegt 20 Autominuten von Himare entfernt. Unterwegs kannst du an einer Ausbuchtung an der Stra\u00dfe anhalten, um den U-Boot Tunnel zusehen, der in den 1950er Jahren von den Soviets genutzt wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt begrenzte kostenlose Parkm\u00f6glichkeiten nahe dem Restaurant am Stra\u00dfenrand in der N\u00e4he der Burg. Au\u00dferdem f\u00fchrt ein holpriger Schotterweg hinunter zum kleinen Strand und zur Burg, wo es reichlich Parkpl\u00e4tze gibt. Die Stra\u00dfe war mir pers\u00f6nlich viel zu holprig, und ich w\u00fcrde es nicht riskieren, dort hinunterzufahren.<\/p>\n<p>Der Eintritt kostet 300 Lek und im Sommer ist die Burg Palermo von 09:00 bis 18:00 Uhr ge\u00f6ffnet. Die Burg ist nicht besonders alt, da sie erst im fr\u00fchen 19. Jahrhundert von Ali Pascha Tepelana erbaut wurde. Sie ist kein absolutes Muss, aber interessant genug. Ich hatte das Gl\u00fcck, eine kleine Geschichtsstunde \u00fcber <strong>Ali Pascha<\/strong> und einen Einblick in sein Leben zu bekommen.<\/p>\n<p>Nach der Besichtigung der Festung kann man direkt vor der T\u00fcr ins Wasser springen. Die Festung von <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/yjdPSvsEAuiMG91g8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Porto Palermo<\/strong><\/a> liegt auf einer Insel, die \u00fcber einen Sandstreifen mit dem Festland verbunden ist. Wie die meisten <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abenteueralbanien.de\/albanien-bunker\/\">Bunker in Albanien<\/a> wurde auch dieser w\u00e4hrend der Pr\u00e4sidentschaftszeit von Enver Hoxha gebaut. Allerdings k\u00f6nnen Sie den faszinierenden Tunnel nicht besichtigen, da er sich innerhalb einer <strong>milit\u00e4rischen Sperrzone<\/strong> befindet.<\/p>\n<p>Trotzdem gibt es entlang der Stra\u00dfe einige Aussichtspunkte, von denen aus man einen perfekten Blick auf den Bunker hat. Wenn du dich entschlie\u00dft, nach Porto Palermo zu wandern, sind dies ideale Orte, um eine Pause einzulegen. Hier findest du nicht nur wundersch\u00f6ne Mittelmeerstr\u00e4nde, sondern auch eine charmante kleine Stadt, die f\u00fcr ihre hervorragenden Meeresfr\u00fcchte bekannt ist. Vergiss die Bars und Clubs von Sarand\u00eb, eine Stunde die K\u00fcste hinunter, wo die meisten Touristen hingehen. Himara ist viel entspannter und hat ein echtes Flair.<\/p>\n<p>Die Stadt selbst hat nicht nur zwei sch\u00f6ne Str\u00e4nde, sondern liegt auch im Herzen der albanischen Riviera und damit nur einen Steinwurf von einigen der besten Str\u00e4nde Albaniens entfernt. Die sch\u00f6nsten Str\u00e4nde findest du im Norden in Richtung Jala, Gjipe und Dh\u00ebrmi &#8211; du wirst nicht entt\u00e4uscht sein. Er ist zwar etwas felsig, aber der Strand ist gro\u00df und nicht so \u00fcberlaufen wie der <strong>Hauptstrand von Himara<\/strong>. Aus diesem Grund bleibt das Wasser auch sauberer.\u00a0Hier gibt es alles, was man f\u00fcr einen sch\u00f6nen Tag in der Sonne braucht. Du kannst dich im Minimarkt eindecken, in einem der Restaurants in Ruhe zu Mittag essen oder einen Liegestuhl f\u00fcr den Tag mieten.\u00a0Suchst du nach einer Abwechslung vom Stadtleben? Er ist nur ein paar hundert Meter entfernt, also sind Auto oder Fahrrad die schnellste Option. Beide Wege f\u00fchren \u00fcber dieselbe Stra\u00dfe und sind im Hochsommer die beste Wahl.<\/p>\n<p>Man kann auch zu Fu\u00df gehen, was ich bevorzuge (obwohl ich ein Freund von hei\u00dfem Wetter bin). Neben der Hauptstra\u00dfe zum Strand gibt es einen schattigen Wanderweg, der zum s\u00fcdlichen Rand von Livadhi Beach f\u00fchrt. Er dauert zwischen 30 und 45 Minuten und ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden.<\/p>\n<p>Begib dich zum <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/NvoPM2D5g17Xezvd9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hafen Dock<\/a> und folge der schmalen Stra\u00dfe weiter nach rechts. Sie f\u00fchrt dich entlang hinter einer Reihe von H\u00e4usern. Dann folgen Sie einfach den roten Wegmarkierungen. Wenn dir das zu schwierig vorkommt, dann schaue einfach auf Google Maps oder Maps.Me nach. Beide zeigen die genaue Route an und k\u00f6nnen dir die Sorgen nehmen.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/Rh7epp9W8WVoWbxs7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Himara Beach<\/a> (Plazhi i Himar\u00ebs)<\/strong>\u00a0ist der Hauptstrand vor der Stadt und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen gro\u00dfen Steg, von dem aus man in das kristallklare Wasser springen kann. Er ist auf beiden Seiten durch eine Felsformation getrennt, w\u00e4hrend der Prinos-Strand auf der anderen Seite direkt daneben liegt.<\/p>\n<p>Der <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/o5YrwmLDVLnFjz9k6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Potami-Strand<\/strong><\/a> ist ein weiterer Strand im Zentrum von Himara und der beste Ort, um bei Sonnenuntergang zu schwimmen oder einfach den Sonnenuntergang zu genie\u00dfen. Er ist nur etwa 5 Minuten zu Fu\u00df vom Prinos-Strand entfernt.<\/p>\n<p>Mit seinem atemberaubenden Wasser und der Aussicht auf das Ionische Meer ist dies ein gro\u00dfartiger Ort, um sich f\u00fcr den Tag in der N\u00e4he von Himara niederzulassen. Es gibt viele leckere Restaurants in der N\u00e4he, aber wir empfehlen das Soren, das sich direkt hinter dem Potami Strand befindet. Es ist ein versteckter Strand, den man nur \u00fcber das Meer oder zu Fu\u00df erreichen kann. Es ist selten, dass dies der Fall ist, aber der Landweg ist die schwierigste Form des Zugangs.<\/p>\n<p>Der Strand scheint in allen Richtungen von hohen Klippen umgeben zu sein, sodass der Wanderweg nach unten bestenfalls skizzenhaft aussieht. Der Weg ist voller losem Schotter und hat einen steilen, glatten, felsigen Boden. Auf halber Strecke gibt es ein Seil, das ein wenig Abhilfe schafft, aber selbst das reicht nicht bis zum Strand. Wenn du mit dem Auto f\u00e4hrst, dann ja! Aber ich w\u00fcrde es nicht empfehlen. Himara ist zum Entspannen gedacht und nicht wirklich f\u00fcr einen \u00fcberst\u00fcrzten Ausflug geeignet!<\/p>\n<h2>Anreise nach Himara<\/h2>\n<p>Aus dem Ausland erreichst du Himara am besten, indem du zuerst nach Korfu fliegst und dann die F\u00e4hre nach Albanien nimmst. In den Sommermonaten kkannst du au\u00dferdem eine direkte F\u00e4hre von Korfu nach Himara nehmen, und das ganze Jahr \u00fcber gibt es F\u00e4hren von Korfu nach Saranda. Von Saranda aus sind es 55 Kilometer, die Sie in etwa 70 Minuten zur\u00fccklegen. Wir empfehlen jedoch, unterwegs einige Pausen einzulegen, da die K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe absolut atemberaubend ist. Du kannst ein Auto direkt am F\u00e4hrterminal in Saranda mieten oder einen Minibus (Furgon) in Richtung Vlora nehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Alternativ kannst du nach Tirana fliegen und am Flughafen ein Auto mieten oder einen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abenteueralbanien.de\/bus-von-tirana\/\">Bus nach Saranda<\/a> nehmen, der der K\u00fcstenroute folgt.
