Jahrhunderts seine <strong>Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit vom Osmanischen Reich<\/strong>. Ihr k\u00f6nnt also eine kleine Tour zu den Denkm\u00e4lern und Museen unternehmen, die die erste Regierung des Staatsmannes <strong>Ismail Qemali<\/strong> feiern, und dabei ein wenig mehr dar\u00fcber erfahren, was es bedeutet, Albaner zu sein.\u00a0Wenn ihr Ideen f\u00fcr Tagesausfl\u00fcge sucht, ist die weitere Region sowohl ungez\u00e4hmt als auch sch\u00f6n.<\/p>\n<p>Ich bin auf meiner Reise durch fast alle St\u00e4dte an der albanischen Riviera gefahren, gro\u00dfe und kleine, und bin froh, dass ich mich letztlich f\u00fcr Vlor\u00eb entschieden habe. Ich habe ein paar wunderbare Tage am Strand verbracht, das historische Kloster auf einer Insel Zvernec erkundet und bin auf wundersch\u00f6nen K\u00fcstenpfaden gewandert. Die Stadt liegt an einer weiten Bucht<strong> am Fu\u00dfe der Ausl\u00e4ufer des Ceraunischen Gebirges<\/strong> und bietet einen <strong>Blick auf die Adria und das Ionische Meer<\/strong>.\u00a0Sie ist nicht nur die f\u00fcnftgr\u00f6\u00dfte Stadt Albaniens, sondern auch eine der historisch und kulturell bedeutendsten. Die von den alten Griechen gegr\u00fcndete Stadt wurde im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert zu einem kulturellen Zentrum. Am bekanntesten ist Vlore in Albanien jedoch als der Ort, an dem 1912 die <strong>Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit vom Osmanischen Reich<\/strong> erkl\u00e4rt wurde.<\/p>\n<h3>Kurz &amp; Knackig<\/h3>\n<p>Das <strong>mediterrane Klima hier ist ein Anziehungspunkt<\/strong> f\u00fcr Touristen, die etwas abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade suchen. Obwohl Vlore City selbst viel zu bieten hat und einige sch\u00f6ne Str\u00e4nde hat, ist die Stadt vor allem deshalb so attraktiv, weil sie das Tor zur <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abenteueralbanien.de\/uebernachtungsmoeglichkeiten-albanische-riviera\/\">albanischen Riviera<\/a> ist. Das Denkmal wurde von Mumtaz Dhrami entworfen, einem Bildhauer des 20. Jahrhunderts, der zu Zeiten des Kommunismus zahlreiche Werke in ganz Albanien geschaffen hat. Sein Unabh\u00e4ngigkeitsdenkmal ist ein Beispiel f\u00fcr den <strong>sozialistisch-realistischen Stil<\/strong> und erinnert heute sowohl an die Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit Albaniens als auch an die schwierigen Nachkriegsjahre des Balkanlandes. Die <strong>Muradie-Moschee<\/strong> ist ein albanisches Nationaldenkmal und wurde 1537 von Mimar Sinan erbaut.<\/p>\n<p>Sinan war einer der ber\u00fchmtesten osmanischen Architekten und ist bis heute eine t\u00fcrkische Kulturikone. Er beaufsichtigte zahllose Bauwerke im ganzen Reich und war sogar an der <strong>Gestaltung des Taj Mahal in Indien beteiligt<\/strong>. Die Altstadt (Old Town) von Vlore liegt etwas von der K\u00fcste entfernt, ziemlich genau mittig in der Stadt Vlora. Die Altstadt von Vlora ist tats\u00e4chlich gar nicht so alt. Mir gefielen besonders die weitl\u00e4ufigen Boulevards und farbenfrohen Fassaden in den bunten Stra\u00dfen mit Restaurants und Caf\u00e9s, in denen es sich gut spazieren gehen l\u00e4sst. Sie befindet sich 30 Meter \u00fcber dem Meer und ist nach Pater Kuzum benannt, einem lokalen geistlichen F\u00fchrer der muslimischen Bektaschi-Sekte. Man sagt, dass Quzum Baba in der N\u00e4he begraben ist, aber sein Grab ist nicht gekennzeichnet. Auf dem Gipfel des H\u00fcgels steht ein Bektaschi-Tempel oder Tekke aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, der als eines der sch\u00f6nsten Exemplare in Albanien gilt. In den folgenden zweihundert Jahren waren die Bektaschi in ganz Albanien sehr einflussreich, doch ihr Einfluss schwand im 19. Jahrhundert, als sie im Osmanischen Reich zunehmend verfolgt wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Kuzum Baba ist der beste Ort, um von oben auf die Stadt zu schauen. Mach einen Spaziergang auf den H\u00fcgel und bewundere das fantastische Panorama. Wenn du dich entscheidest, von der Altstadt aus zu laufen, mach dich auf die vielen, vielen Stufen gefasst! Es ist auch m\u00f6glich, mit dem Auto zu fahren und oben zu parken. Jahrhundert v. Chr.<\/strong> erbaut wurde, als diese Region von griechischen St\u00e4mmen besiedelt wurde &#8211; die Burg Kanina in Vlora. Sie steht auf dem <strong>Berg Shushica<\/strong>, dem Quellort des gleichnamigen Flusses. 380 Meter \u00fcber dem Meeresspiegel, erstreckt die Burg sich \u00fcber fast 4.000 Hektar und sch\u00fctzt das moderne <strong>Dorf Kanine <\/strong>am Fu\u00dfe der Festung. Von der Festung an sich ist nicht besonders viel \u00fcbrig geblieben.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 500 baute der byzantinische Kaiser Justinian I. die Siedlung wieder auf, und die Burg blieb mindestens ein Jahrhundert lang in Betrieb und diente im Mittelalter als Festung des F\u00fcrstentums Valona, als Vlora ein Vasall des serbischen Reiches war. Von der Burg bietet sich ein fantastischer Ausblick auf Vlora, mit der Halbinsel Karaburun und der Insel Sazan im Hintergrund, den ich besonders genossen habe. Ziel des Museums ist es, eine Vorstellung von der nationalen Identit\u00e4t Albaniens zu vermitteln und an die Unabh\u00e4ngigkeitserkl\u00e4rung des Landes im Jahr 1912 zu erinnern. Die Insel wurde nach dem gleichnamigen Dorf benannt und liegt etwa 13 km von Vlora entfernt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kloster Zvernec<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sobald du an Land bist, kannst du dich im dichten, duftenden Kiefernwald der Insel verlieren und am felsigen Ufer entlang wandern, um die Lagune zu \u00fcberblicken. In der Mitte, auf einer friedlichen Lichtung, befindet sich dieses <strong>Kloster Zvernec aus dem Jahr 1300<\/strong>, ein sch\u00f6nes Beispiel f\u00fcr <strong>byzantinische Architektur<\/strong>. Auch die nat\u00fcrliche Kulisse ist fabelhaft, denn hinter der Stadt erhebt sich der 2000 Meter hohe Berg Athanasius. Ich habe hier kaum Touristen gesehen. Sie f\u00fchrt dich durch das malerische Feuchtgebiet Vjose-Narte, wo der Fluss Aoos in die Adria m\u00fcndet, nachdem er sich durch Griechenland und S\u00fcdalbanien gewunden hat. Das unbestrittene Highlight von Fier ist der arch\u00e4ologische Park von Apollonia, einer griechischen Kolonie, die 2.500 Jahre alt ist.<\/p>\n<p>Apollonia war dem R\u00f6mischen Reich treu ergeben, nachdem die \u00f6rtlichen Illyrer besiegt worden waren, und der sp\u00e4tere r\u00f6mische Kaiser Augustus studierte hier 44 v. Chr. Zu den architektonischen Fragmenten geh\u00f6ren der Portikus eines Tempels, ein Odeon-Theater und ein byzantinisches Kloster. Den Besuch von Apollonia empfehle ich dir. Die venezianische Br\u00fccke, die hier zu finden ist, wurde zum nationalen Kulturerbe erkl\u00e4rt. Sie verbindet beide Seiten des Flusses Shushice und die alte Karawanenstra\u00dfe mit der Br\u00fccke in Rreza.<\/p>\n<p>Die Br\u00fccke von Brataj liegt etwa 48 km von Vlora und ist mit dem Auto in ca. 40 Minuten erreichbar. Auf dem Weg dorthin passierst du au\u00dferdem einige weitere eher abenteuerliche Br\u00fcckenkonstruktionen mit spektakul\u00e4ren Blicken auf den Fluss Shushice und die umliegenden Berge und T\u00e4ler.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Heute ist dieses historische Wahrzeichen nicht nur ein Zeugnis der Vergangenheit der Region, sondern auch ein charmanter R\u00fcckzugsort f\u00fcr alle, die an warmen Sommertagen eine Pause einlegen wollen.
